Per CMS guidelines updated 11-12-21 the facility is now fully open to unrestricted indoor and outdoor visitation.
Although there is no limit on the number of visitors that a resident can have at one time, visits should be conducted in a manner that adheres to the core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention and does not increase risk to other residents. Visitors should not walk around the facility, rather go directly to the resident’s room.
Core Principles of COVID-19 Infection Prevention
• Visitors who have a positive viral test for COVID-19, symptoms of COVID-19, or currently meet the criteria for quarantine, should not enter the facility. All visitors will be screened prior to visiting residents.
• Hand hygiene (use of alcohol-based hand rub is preferred)
• Face covering or mask (covering mouth and nose) and physical distancing at least six feet between people, in accordance with CDC guidance.
We encourage visitors to be tested on their own before coming to the facility (e.g., within 2–3 days).
CMS strongly encourages all visitors to become vaccinated and facilities should educate and also encourage visitors to become vaccinated.

No new COVID cases with residents or facility staff.
1 new PUI case of a facility staff member. Staff member had contact with a person in the community that was COVID postivie. Staff member asymptomatic and self-quarantining and will test again after quarantine.
PUI 2 residents last week negative COVID test.
1 COVID positive resident from last week continues at the hospital.
Previously we had 8 PUI with 1 COVID positive case with staff members. 6 of the PUI have completed self-quarantine and back at work. 2 are still pending follow up completing COVID re-test s/p self-quarantine. Staff member + COVID case has completed self-quarantine. Pending follow up COVID re-test.
Staff testing was completed per ONG per Governor/ODH order. On 7/15/20 72 staff were tested. All results are still pending. 20 staff had tested previous to 7/15/20 with 17 negative and 3 pending.

The facility has one newly identified resident who has tested positive for COVID 19. The resident is currently out to the hospital.
The facility has 3 residents as PUI 2 have been tested and awaiting test results. All three residents are in quarantine per CDC guidelines.
